As cyberbullying has been recently identified as the number one issue on European scale among the helplines (http://helplines.bik-net.eu/), the Awareness Centre created a dedicated A4 flyer tackling this emerging issue, entitled “What is cyberbullying?” with the aim to explain the different aspects of traditional bulling and cyberbullying, the penalization of this behavior as well as to give useful advice to kids / teenagers on how to deal with the phenomenon, but also to parents/adults, in order to be able to recognize the signs of cyberbullying and effectively help their children. The flyer was made in cooperation with Childnet International, UK SIC member, having as basis a very successful brochure entitled: “Cyberbullying: a whole school community issue”.
