eSafety Label+: Become the next eSafety Champion

eSafety Label+ logoeSafety Label+: Become the next eSafety Champion’ is an Erasmus+ project aiming to mobilise and foster the exchange of knowledge and best practices among a wide community of European teachers and other school actors to better equip schools for a safe and responsible digital future.

The eSafetyLabel + Champions have been busy this year, producing a broad range of resources (fact sheets, guidelines and best practice scenarios) on online safety aiming to inspire and engage teachers and pupils to have more discussions about online safety in their schools. The first out of three sets of materials is almost finalised and will be gradually be published on this page.  These learning materials foster the creation of an online safe school ecosystem, focusing on the three key areas of online safety (infrastructure, policy and practice). Materials will be available in English, Czech, Greek and Portuguese.

First set of eSafety Champion Materials - Infrastructure

Personal Data Protection according to GDPR

This educational material aims to familiarize students with personal data and their digital rights and obligations according to the GDPR and formally includes:

  • teacher’s notes and a short handbook presenting an indicative roadmap for the realization of this resource
  • a short presentation of the specific resource which can be delivered to the school community
  • a list of activities for further investigation and practice in order to enhance understanding and learning outcome
  • a self-evaluation worksheet which can be completed before and/or after the realization of the educational activities
  • This resource is complemeted with an interactive quiz about GDPR, implemented in Scratch programming environment, that enables students to apply their newly acquired knowledge.

  • a list of activities for further investigation and practice that can be easily realized in the classroom
  • two worksheets (Exercise 1 and Exercise 2) that can be used for the realization of the activities
  • Additionally, a self-evaluation Quiz App is available on Play Store for Android Devices. Students can also use this App through an Android Emulator (i.e., BlueStacks) in order to assess their newly acquired knowledge.

Cyberbullying - Educational material 1

This educational material aims to prevent and combat cyberbullying within the school and includes:

  • A document containing an introduction to the topic and a set of measures, in the form of checklist.
  • A film exploration script containing brief guidelines for viewing a video about cyberbullying. It allows the analysis of the video and the issues addressed on it.
  • A worksheet to be done by students after the activities described in the film exploration script.
  • The resource is complemented with a presentation to raise parents' awareness on cyberbullying and digital safety of our students.
