It is with great pleasure that we are launching the newly revamped eSafety Label portal after almost seven years from the launch of the first pilot phase, on Safer Internet Day 2012! First eSafety Label+ output now published!


The first result of the eSafety Label+ project has just been published. Drawing upon a quantitative research carried out among 1,150 members of the eSafety Label community (teachers), the report forms an evidence base for all further eSafety Label+ project activities.

eSafety Label+ multiplier event in Prague “Internet vulnerabilities in schools and how to face them”


On 15 March 2019, NCBI, the Czech partner in the eSafety Label+ project, held a national multiplier event on "Internet vulnerabilities in schools and how to face them". The event was aimed primarily at educators and other professionals in the school area, including four eSafety Label+ Champions, who have been involved in the eSafety Label + project since the beginning.

eSafety Label + multiplier Event in Patras, Greece


On 21 May 2019, The Computer Technology Institute (CTI) and Press "Diophantus", the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (UoA) and the Regional Directorate of Primary and Secondary Education of Western Greece co-organized an eSafety Label+ Greek national multiplier event in Patras (Greece). Computer science teachers, primary education teachers, head-teachers, school advisors and other stakeholders were the main audience of the event.

eSafety Label+ Advisory Board: a group of online safety experts to guide the project


The eSafety Label+ project has set up an Advisory Board to function as a reflective soundboard for the eSafety Label+ project and the eSafety Label initiative as a whole. This group composed of Ministry of Education (MoE), academia and industry representatives, teachers and other public and private experts, will help to prioritise needs and establish a forum for discussion around online safety approaches as part of the school curriculum. Moreover, it will provide input and feedback to tools and educational materials developed under the project, while raising further awareness and exchange of expertise on the topic at European Union level.

eSafety Label + Multiplier Event in Portugal


On 22 May 2019 the Direção-Geral de Educação (DGE) organised the Portuguese eSL+ Multiplier Event with the aim to raise awareness about the importance of ensuring a secure online and offline environment in schools as well as to promote the eSafety Label + : Become the next eSafety Champion activities and results. Moreover, the event also provided a perfect opportunity to encourage more schools to join the eSafety Label community . Organised in the Amato Lusitano school in Castelo Branco, the event targeted above all, heads of schools, ICT teachers and other relevant school staff.
