Internet vulnerabilities at schools and how to face them

Narodni Centrum Bezpecnejsiho Interrnetu (NCBI), the Czech partner of eSafety Label+ project, organised a multiplier event on 15 March 2019 for all eSafety Label+ ambassadors, as well as other stakeholders, especially teachers working in school management positions. The main topic of discussion, as mentioned in the title, was internet vulnerabilities in school and how to face them.

The main goal of the event was to discuss with the audience what the main threats at the school ICT environment are and how the eSafety Label+ project can help in that perspective. In addition, up-to-date information about the project’s development was shared while attendees had the opportunity to see a live presentation of the main ICT threats with which schools are faced and discuss about GDPR. Although already one year since the GDPR entered into force, there are still a lot of unclear questions about its implications for schools. For this reason, the topic was put on the table.
