This resource aims to inform parents as well as the school community about the reporting mechanisms of inappropriate content available in specific social media applications (i.e., Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, etc.) that are widely used by young people. The resource is formulated as a guide/toolkit, providing a step by step framework for reporting inappropriate or abusive content; thus, it can be considered as part of the Infrastructure of the school in order to efficiently address emerging dangers that threatens children’s online safety.

Guide to report content on social mediaΣτόχος αυτής της πηγής είναι να ενημερώσει τους γονείς και την σχολική κοινότητα γενικότερα για τους μηχανισμούς αναφοράς ακατάλληλου περιεχομένου που διατίθενται σε συγκεκριμένες εφαρμογές κοινωνικής δικτύωσης (π.χ., Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram κ.λπ.) και είναι ευρέως διαδεδομένες στους νέους. Η συγκεκριμένη πηγή διαρθρώνεται ως ένας χρηστικό εργαλείο ή οδηγό, που περιγράφει βήμα προς βήμα τις διαδικασίες για την αναφορά ακατάλληλου ή υβριστικού περιεχομένου και ως εκ τούτου μπορεί να θεωρηθεί ως μέρος της Υποδομής της σχολικής μονάδας προκειμένου να αντιμετωπιστούν αποτελεσματικά οι αναδυόμενοι κίνδυνοι που απειλούν άμεσα τη διαδικτυακή  ασφάλεια των παιδιών.
